So I have huge dilemma, I would like to make 2h beast on master difficulty, however I am not sure what is better, Orc or Nord?

Nord has awesome frost resist and Orc can use one per day incredible Berserker ability. By that ability boss fights can be much easier. With Nord frost resistance, regular gameplay is easier because I can counter mages better than Orc, and frost attacks won't burn my stamina that fast and stamina is very important on 2h warrior.

I don't really like Orc's look, but that becomes insignificant later on.

I want go traditional way, 2H, Heavy Armor, Alchemy, Enchanting, Smithing so I can make my own Armor/Weapon.

For the roleplaying aspect, I never played Nord and never finished Stormcloaks questline yet. And even if I finished all guilds and many side quests I never tried main quest yet. So I was thinking that Nord fits in that perfectly.

But that Berserker ability looks so cool, so my question is. Can you play on Master difficulty as 2h warrior without Berserker? And efficiently kill bosses etc.?

The resistance to Frost is alright, but it won't stop you from slowing down. It's also nothing some resist magic enchantments can't help with, either. I would naturally side with the Orc but that's just me. The Nord shout can come in handy if you don't think you can win a fight, Berserker Rage or not.

Well, since he is using a completely nonmagical character (so the shock magicka drain isn't a big deal) being resistanct to shock and getting


pretty much makes you immune to one element. Plus that Fear ability is more useful then people think.

But, Orc rage is fairly awesome, and they have bonuses to virtually every skill you're using. I'd go orc just to be different, but both are great choices.
