I'm having problems to get my stuff back in this quest. It says that I can retrive my gear from a chest, but this chest is empty. I'v been searching on the internet and I'm not the only one with problems. I save on one slot only, overwritening it all times, so I don't have any backup.. please I need somebody to help me how to resolve this problem. Thank you.

If your talking about at the end:
Are you looking into the right chest? It's the chest on the left side of the room upon entering, not the right.

If your talking about during:
Malborn (The wood elf contact) didn't get any items from you to smuggle in.

It's because you messed up and didn't actually give Malborn anything. I did it too, ended up doing the entire quest in Thalmor robes I found in a room near the guards you initially attack/kill/

There should be an autosave near the time you are needing to reload.

Is it possible you didn't put anything in the chest? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but if you gave your entire inventory to the elf then you should already have it back.


Try restarting the xbox to see if that helps.

Complete the quest and your items are going to be in a chest in Riverwood with Delphine.

If you didn't give him anything, you'll get it back at the end of the quest when you return to delphine. Not giving anything wasn't a smart move, and only having one save is just stupid. I hope for your sake that you'll find some weapons along the way.
