Disappointed with Brotherhood..(spoilers)

Post » Wed Jun 12, 2013 9:44 pm

Being a fan of the Fables and Dragonage, I found myself in love with Skyrim as well, especially the Dark Brotherhood questline. It was fun up until most of the special members died, leaving me in charge of an assassin group with no assassins.. I've upgraded the Dawnstar Sanctuary and now it just seems so empty with just Babette, Nazir and two "initiates". I suppose I was expecting more after I helped rebuild it.. Anyone else feel a bit robbed? Everything else is so in depth, I just wish I had more assassins with actual names and purpose that I could boss around like the assassin leader I am.

as said above, not the right forum. you need this in Skyrim forums.

anyways, i do not agree with you entirely. i would rather have seen Festus Krex and Gabrielle with me in Danwstar sanctuary. i like how the helplessness was put in place. they were going to die and nothing you can do about it

oh and you can still have cicero if you chose not to kill him.

if you have the Spectral assassin (Lucien Lachance, Speaker of the Dark Brotherhood in TES IV: Oblivion), he will tell you that it is not the will of sithis to kill him.

It's your choice, kill him and please Astrid. Leave him and please the Night Mother and Sithis.

dunno how to put spoiler collapse thingie, but cicero can also become a follower if left alive.

In case the first two comments weren't enough for you: this isn't the right forum of Skyrim story talk. I think it'll also be generally appreciated too if keep spoilers in the click box.

That aside, yes, I do share your sense of empty accomplishment with the Dark Brotherhood ending, it felt hollow. I hope that in TES 6 and TESO they will break this general story plot.

oh im sorry, I thought I had selected the skyrim forum section. My mistake. I honestly didnt think Nazir even played a big enough role to be one of the survivors. I definitely killed Cicero, bah. I suppose I just expected the place to have more people, with actual names, when Nazir said he'd do some recruiting. Oh well, its only one aspect of the game. The rest is still going to take me awhile im sure.
