Disappointment. One year later.

I sold my copy of skyrim one month after release due to issues with the game.

I come back once every two or three months to see if the game has been improved or fixed.

It has been an full year for this game, it hasn't been fixed from what I can tell from the posts people make.

I would think in a year a full YEAR they could fix the game or do something, but no it seems they have not.

I want to play this game again, but I can't bring myself to purchase a broken product again.

What does everyone else think of skyrim? Worth the purchase on ps3 or pass?

PS3 = fail. Throw it away.

Invest in a better platform. Not only will Skyrim be better, but you'll be happier in general.

I have played it extensively on PS3 and Xbox.
Never had any problems at all.
Great game, worth every penny. (same with the DLC)

You could always wait another year, and get the GOTY edition. They usually have most of the bugs fixed.

yeah really thinking of doing that. Maybe Bethesda just doesnt want to fix the game and give us PS3 players the gaming experience we deserve..
cant be asked to wait this long, ONE [censored] YEAR and NOTHING, no improvement AT ALL

May also wish to invest in a PC, depending on if your issues with skyrim is the game in general, or the apparant lack of bugfixes. The PC has access to mods, and many of the popular ones are unofficial bugfixes. The ones to look out for are the Unofficial ____ Patch, where the blank is replaced by Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, etc.

Platform bashing flamebait aside. The OP shouldn't have to buy another console in order to play a multiplatform game the way it is advertised. Developers should make sure that their games work on all the platforms they intend to release on, if they can't bothered then they should release exclusives. End of story.

To answer the OPs question: no it hasn't been fixed and 1.8 is just compatibility for the next DLC, which is also 360 exclusive. Spend your money on something else.
