So, a lot of the NPCs I pass by say stuff like, "you don't look so good, friend." Thing is, I don't see that I'm infected with anything on any of the interface menu screens. Is there somewhere particular I have to look for this? Or is it just a bug?

when you get a disease the game tells you with a message, top left of the screen

if you are already infected, it is listed under the active bit of the magic menu

aparently there is a menu that shows active effects in tehmagic screen. The status effects are listed there?
