I have the original retail version of the game, I played it some time ago and it was fine.
But now I get that error when I try to run Dishonored. I've tried downloading it from Steam and checking files integrity.
Nothing worked.
How can i solve the problem?

Have you updated any drivers? Steam may have updated your video card drivers for you.

I've installed some programs for sure, but all the other games work fine so I don't think these applications would be a problem.
I haven't made any hardware changes (I have a notebook, Acer 5820TG).
I try to have all my drivers up to date.
