Dishonored seemed awesome ... Until I realized that the auto

I started playing Dishonored and it looked pretty sweet. But after playing for about an hour or more and died, I selected 'Load last save' and well ... I was put back in the beginning of the game. Games that do not make a decent auto-save feature is what typically decides if I continue to play the game or not. I did notice however that there were some auto-save files in the 'Load' list. Even selecting one of those I was still put back quite a ways in my mission.

If the game allows you to save at any point during the missions, then why not just enable frequent auto-saves to avoid the player having to always remember to save. I think the game should be more about the game play and not about save/loading save files.

I really cringe when I have to re-do entire levels and to be honest I doubt I'll play the game again because of that.

For such a well known gaming company, I would think they would have come up with a solid auto-save feature by now. Maybe their developers need to go back for refresher classes to optimize their skills.

I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for this game to find out the auto-save feature svcks!

Anyhow that's the end of my rant.

"Saving is too hard. Game svcks."

Not really sure what to say to this.

Well when you're immersed in the game play. Forget to save. Die. And then realize you have to play over the last 20-30 minutes you just played, getting all the collectibles along the way. It's quite frustrating. The game itself is great. I just really hate replaying games just like I typically never watch the same movie more than once.
