I understand that the whole arrow to the knee thing is kinda silly
but in all honesty you have to admit that it would take months (at best) to recover from having a piece of metal rip thru the bones in your knee

IMO the fact that they were able to even make it beck to a town to seek treatment is pretty [censored] amazing

The joke isn't at the expense of the guards. It is just funny that you can go around, get shot at hundreds of times, set on fire, whacked by giants, and be fine whilst the guards get stopped by one little arrow.

And the fact that every single guard seems to have got the gig that way. Seriously: were none of them shot anywhere else?

They should just patch it out of the game.
