I just don't see why you would care what a critic thinks.
I do research on the games I plan to purchase, maybe reading a review is part of your research I dunno.
To each their own.
But what I meant is: Are there people that buy the games depending on critics average score?
(Meaning, if it's 7 then they won't even bother looking at the gameplay videos)
I was just kidding...making a joke about thinking for one's self by asking you what I should think. Get it?

Anyway, it really depends on the review. If the review is obviously intended to shove the reviewer's opinion down my throat then I'll pay no attention, because only I can form my opinion. A good review, however, should be mostly a presentation of basic information, an objective breakdown of pro's, cons, bugs found, quality of individual aspects of the game, etc., and then the author can inject their opinion at the end. That way if my gaming taste doesn't match that of the reviewer I was still given some useful information about the game to help me decide whether or not I should try it out.
Unfortunately, far too many reviewers are arrogant children that use their review columns as a forum to promote their personal opinions rather than actually inform their readers. I couldn't care less what those guys think.
I'm on my third play-through of Alpha Protocol...I think it's actually a good game...flawed, but good.
