Am I the only one frustrated in terms of maps for the DLC? When trying to traverse the Vale or the Soul Cairn we have virtually no way to navigate due to the world map either being useless (for the Soul Cairn) or just showing fog (for the Vale) and the local map is actually pretty useless.

Perhaps they should've made a seperate map for the Soul cairn and perhaps added the Vale area onto the world map. Aye I know the new version map is pretty fly and adding this would've been hard but it would have made things much easier.

A separate map for the soul cairn is a brilliant idea, you have the same problem in blackreach.

I have to disagree with all of you. Lazy, how? I personally think there shouldn't be such a detailed map in-game, I prefer exploring myself. They should have gave us an in-game map item that we pull out that looks like the in-game maps you find in, say, Dragonsreach and other Jarl settlements.

I hope they continue to put some areas in-game that give us no map, and continue to make quests like the Aetherium one where we have to find out where to go by ourselves. It's bringing TES back to it's roots, imo.

Lazy is asking for fast travel spots, if we're going to get a map may as well have one that is actually useful.
