HH DLC, It says i have a companion but i don't HELP : Fallout: New Vegas

Hey everybody, I’m having a problem starting the new dlc honest hearts, jed Masterson keeps telling me to leave my companion behind but that’s just it I don’t have a companion with me so what do I do.

The issue is related to a bug with ED-E. We're working on a fix for this. In the meantime, you'll need to revert to a save prior to when you lost ED-E in order to access Honest Hearts.

yep just did that, Thinkfully i had a save just befor that happend so now HH is loading. Thanks for the reply :hugs:

noo! omg i did the same thing, its not a bug, he tells u that, but to get to zion just go all the way down the little tunnel in the northern passage and when u get to the end it says "exit to zion" or somthin, click that, and honest hearts will start. u don't start it by the dialogue.

I never had ED-E, I've had Boone for the entire game and it still won't let me start.... wtf!

Awhile after I "lost" Ed-E, I went to mister house's and went up to the penthouse. When I came out I forgot to grab my companions. I went running around the world etc... after a while (not sure how long). I got the pop up message that Ed-e has returned to Primm, Boone has returned to Novac. When I went to Primm, there was Ed-e again...... Try that.

is this true? Can you bypass the companion glitch by going to the end of the tunnel? I haven't tried this. When I talk to the guy, he says "Woah there, theres only enough room for one on this journey", even though to me it appears my party is empty. If you have this bug, can you still start HH by walking to the tunnel????

I will try this tonight and report back. Has anyone else been able to do this??

This does not bypass the companion glitch. I tried last night. It says "you must travel with the happy trails caravan on your first visit to new zion" . . .
