DLC: The Ka Po Tun Invasion

Post » Wed Nov 28, 2012 1:19 pm

For those who don't know (im sure most of you do):

The Ka Po Tun are a race of Tiger people who live on Akavir, they were in a war with another race called the Tsaesci. The Dragons helped the Ka Po Tun in the war after the Tsaesci tried to devour and enslave them, but the Dragons all died out during the war (at least that what the Ka Po Tun believe), and so since then the Ka Po Tun have tried to find out ways to become Dragons, the only one who managed this was Tosh Raka, ruler of the Ka Po Tun, and it is believed his eventual goal is to invade Tamriel.

Now...

Does anyone think that if this was ever going to be part of a TES game, it would be Skyrim? Now i would much rather, after Tamriel has practically been done, that the TES games should focus more on the continent of Akavir, but, just for speculation and giggles we'll talk about it as a possible DLC.

The return of the Dragons leads Tosh Raka to attempt to contact them and join their army like they once were did and use them to help him invade Tamriel, and we must stop them before they discover the secret to becoming Dragons (this sounds stupid, but its Lore...) and thus the Dragon invasion would grow into an unstoppable, incomprehensible size...

As i said, i would much rather full games be based on Akavir, i wanna' hang with the Tang Mo in next-gen glory, but what do you guys think of this?

If they make it, I'll play it.
That's...really the extent of my 'give-a-damn'.

This is something I have brought up in the past. Logically it just makes sense to include the Ka Po' Tung into this game, with the Dragons tie-in as well as Akaviri's tie-in with The Blades and some of the things/lore around Skyrim. However I believe that this could potentially be a bigger plot for another game since Tosh Raka is not a true dragon so the player does not have to be Dragonborn in order to "permanently" kill him.

It has actually been suggested that Tosh Raka pulled a MArtn and became Akatosh, so he technically is a true dragon

The Ka Po Tun is said to be horrible at sea, so if they try to travel across the sea, they will probably end up in Atmora or Pyandonea. :lmao:

I think the whole The Ka Po Tun deserves a game of its own as it has so much more potential rather than just for a dlc in my opinion

Interesting how they will interact with Kajhiit. Will they see them as brethren? Or an inferior race?
