Does anybody else HATE the map?

YUCK. Don't get me wrong, this game is absolutely incredible, but the map is DISGUSTING!

Eww. It's so hard to navigate, and even the abysmal map in morrowind is better than this one...

I hope a mod comes out soon to change it back to the Oblivion one.

Because it rotates everywhere, it is hard to navigate compared to the simplistic Oblivion system and you lose your bearings easily.

In oblivion, I knew where everything was, Bruma north, Anvil south west, Imperial middle, Cheydinhal east, but in this one I can't figure out for the life of me where Solitude is sometimes :(

I don't thinks it is horrible, but I did like the Oblivion map/menus better.

You can't turn the map around completely. North will always be along the top edge of your screen--South at the bottom. If you're not used to navigating by landmarks or used to thinking geographically, I can see it being a little challenging, but I've found the map to be one of the best new things about the game.

I love the map. It's easy to navigate, easy to zoom in and out, you can rotate it... What's not to like?

Just use movement keys to move on the map and don't use mouse at all. Mouse makes it a bit awkward so i'm using "WASD" only.

I was a huge supporter of this map from the day they announced it.... But it turns out that the textures on the map are HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrendous. It's like they really don't care about anyone playing the game above 1280x720.

But really, I can't understand how you can possibly like Oblivion's map more than Morrowind's. Morrowind's map was way better, if only for the highlighting of cells that you've been to previously.

My map doesn't rotate, and the 3d map makes it easier to navigate 3 dimensional locations like up mountains.

Seriously I question your intelligence if you can't navigate such a simplistic map.

It's hard to control... if we can do all these new features on a map that looks weird and alien, then at least give me a setting to keep it still, and let me zoom out a bit more -_-

Really having trouble with the rotating too, disorientating.

You can always use the physical map... and the cities are very easy to locate, man, Solitude is always in northwest, Winterhold northeast, Riften southeast, and Markarth southwest, it's not hard.

The only thing I don't care for are the icons. They look a little too large and a little too cartoonish for my taste. I would prefer smaller, more tastefully done icons.
