Does anybody use the ghostly weapons?

Does anybody favour them?

I came across alot of draugr using them in some places related to quests. I really like the look of them and how light they are but I didn't use any because they didn't suit the RP of my character.

Some Draugr ruins have Draugrs who weld them. Ghost Bows, Sword and Axes. They can be picked up. They cannot be smithed to improve them.

You can get the Ghostblade during a quest and it can be buffed up with Ectoplasm. I used it a lot in my previous playthrough.
But like bartoman mentions, Dawnbreaker is good if not in fact extraordinary, and you will tend to use nothing else once you aquire it.

I've gotten it twice, never used it.

I finally smithed up the Ghostblade to 100 damage (on an Altmer, who is skilled but weak, so all the criticals, paralysis and decap, but only the one base damage up you have to take, but fortify one-handed on two items). The trouble I had getting it, sent in at low level on a random find the book quest, and with how cool it looks, wouldn't be without it. Hotkey essential for me.

Ghostblade here : http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Ansilvund. It's a low level weapon, unless you put a lot of effort into smithing it up, but weighs very little.

Used the bow with my first character, no longer played. My current character will definitely prefer these, when he finds any.

Yeah as some here have said, its not just the blade but there are bows and axes too. Not seen any two handed hammers or two handed greatswords though. Are they in the game?

Aye Ghostblade is a permanent fixture on one of my builds, I think it's in 134 damage now with four pieces of gear with 40% fortify one-handed. It might get to 200 damage once I've got one-handed upto 100 with all the perks.
