I play a warrior who uses a one-handed sword, and often switches between spells in his left hand. This works fine, but when I want to drop the spells and block with my weapon, I have to equip a torch or something in my left hand, and then quickly uneqip it before the game lets me use both hands for blocking. It seems like there should be an easier way to do this, but I'm totally missing it if there is. Does anyone know how to simplify this with hotkeys?

unequip the spell in your left hand...not sure if that can be done with hotkey but it can be done in the quick favorites menu
