Does anyone know if you can become a Werebear?

Post » Thu Dec 06, 2012 5:59 pm

I have come across about 7 Werebears and I have heard a few people around the island mention them. I was wondering if you can become one, it has been bothering since I first saw one.

There's this guy, near Riften, randomly placed in the forest that'll tell you this... You need honey, go to the top of Mount Kilkreath, unequip all of your gear, rub the honey all over yourself, and wait.

Just kidding. You didn't do it, did you?

LOL, in another thread I top-of-my-headed an idea for a BGS troll quest that was far more elaborate, time consuming, demeaning and menial. It ended with the player using a sleeping salve in a circle at the top of a mountain and waking up the next morning with no gear at all. Strolling naked into town, the player is treated to some info about guys looking to sell all of his gear. That really would have been FAR more epic than Spearrows. A werebear snipe hunt! :)

I have had numerous random attacks, not sure how many individuals. I'd have to go count my jars of honey to make a guesstimate. lol So yeah, you can find more than the bunch at Frostmoon.

that's a pack of werewolves at frostmoon. so far I've only encountered the 3 werebears that are at that barrow which name always escapes, not a single random wild attack and I run all over solstheim at all hours....maybe I need to rub some honey on myself :P

 duhhhh, yes, you are correct, my bad!!

I have run into them in the ashland above and behind Raven Rock, they usually travel in three's. I was so excited the first time I encountered them that while trying to look at the cool animation, they killed me.

Edit: I think the spawn location has to be right there somewhere, they do repeat appearances too.

Huh. Still haven't met any random werebears. And yeah, Frostmoon are WWs, just wondering if the OP might have missed that in the heat of battle.

Well, that's a lot more innocent than a roll of toilet paper. Although, seriously, I'd crack up. Especially if they spawned near an outhouse in the woods.
