It might sound like a redundant question, but does his/her being born with the soul of a dragon give them a sort of 'hidden ability' to dominate dragons more easily than mortal men? I know it sounds like a silly question in some respects, but I do think it's a valid topic. I don't mean the ability to absorb a dragons life force, I mean does this give him/her a sort of 'sudden ferocity' in combat when facing the dragon that makes them in rivalry with the dragon?

Yes in essence you are a Dov in Joor Form, but all the intricacies of the Dov still apply to you. you may be more frail than your winged lizard counter parts but that is rectified with each rival Dragon you take down, the other Dragons recognize you for who you are, so you can give claim to dominance when you beat one into submission.

That's what I thought. Watching some of the the 'critical kills' of Dovahkiin killing the dragon almost makes me imagine that when they're faced with a dragon it brings out that inborn desire of dragons to conquer something more arguably stronger than yourself. That was how I felt seeing it anyway.

I don't see my attacks speeding up, so I don't think this is it. It's more like being Dragonborn allows the character to be able to survive a dragon fight long enough to prevail. More importantly, the Dragonborne is given the same powers as the Dragons, so they can fight them on their own terms.
