Does Bethesda get away with too much?

It seems that out of all the devs I know, Beth seems to get a free pass when it comes to bugs and glitches. Yes, there games are large, but because of that it seems like the media let's them slide more so then they should. It's like a running joke. People will say "yeah it's buggy as crap, but it's Beth, that's too be expected!" Not a very good attitude if you ask me. Maybe they'll get better next gen.

Probably because so many of their bugs/glitches are hilarious.

Right.

Anyway, I somewhat agree with you. I've noticed that people seem to cut Bethesda slack, and I don't think that's all too good. Bethesda's quality assurance isn't the best, and that's a field where they have room for improvements.

I think it's because Behesda's games aren't as 'broken' by bugs as more linear games, they are game-breakig in some cases, but they are sporadic unlike a bug in a FPS campaign.
