Does Bethesda read these forums?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 5:32 am

As 90% of the topics seem to be about people sharing their grievances- it would be nice to think that Bethesda sees and acknowledges them, and it would be even nicer to know that they might soon be addressed.

Bethesda employees post here occasionally, so they have to use them.

This isn't an MMO so I wouldn't be expecting quick and consistent fixes. For your pissy one time fee they're probably only going to fix game-breaking things.

I am sure they are lurking and looking at the issues and praise for the game. Plus I am sure they knew about several bugs even at launch. They have a luandry list of bugs that will be prioritized after launch to fix and some that will never be fixed. this is the nature of software development.

... Sell it if you don't like it then. I think It's fine, along with a lot of others. Either sell it, or don't play it, if you're going to complain.

Well the let me say that in the few days Ive had it this game is easily in my top 5 of all time, and my gratitude toward them for making it is considerable- its just things like Destructions nonscaling gimping my mage spoils my enjoyment of it.

EDIT= I mean the magic system in this game is practically pitch perfect and prior to level 40 I was having such a blast with it, its just getting to high level and having a harder time with combat then I did at low level is nonsensical.

I agree. I just get a headache and a bad vibe from all the complaints. Most of the complainers aren't even going to stick around for the game that long anyway, probably play the main quest and a 1/4 of the side quests a couple times and then ditch the game for whatever hot new title is out like Warhammer warcraft space marines 7.

I can't wait until all this complaint crap gets over with and we can ACTAULLY TALK ABOUT THE GAME like D.I.D. or arguing why the Legion are fascist pigs or our thoughts on the Daedric lords.

EmilPags was just on and I know Nick was to.

Just look at the list of people online on the main page. You'll see yellow/gold = Bethesda Game Studios people, Aqua blue(?) = Bethesda Softworks. They used to have a "Developers" but that seems to have been absorbed by Bethesda Game Studios people.

edit: red = Administrator not the aforementioned Developers. I forget what colour they were.

If they don't fix the game, we could organize an "Occupy Bethesda" protest. We are the 90%.
My sign would read, "This s**** it broken. Please fix it."

Actually like those protesters, they don't represent the 99% as they claim. They represent themselves. Look up the definition of a Republic and Democracy. We are a Republic, which means we represent ourselves, not mob rule that claims to speak for everyone, which is a Democracy.

End/Politics

And most of those shouting the loudest aren't even gonna stick around the next couple months while the rest of us civilized players will discussing things like the story, D.I.D, and why the Legion deserves to die.

I am actually a bit surprised devs dont post more than they do. I remember before dragon age origins came out i was on the forums a lot and devs were posting in pretty much all the important threads. I kinda expected that to be the norm, but here it seems to be very rare for a dev to post something about the game on the forums.
