On my second (this time lethal) playthrough, a strange incident occurred which I don't know is a bug, a feature or me simply confused.

I end up assaulting Daud's office frontal, taking out his followers then engage in hand to hand combat, in which he uses his time-slow powers. Finally I kill him. However - as i realise later - there is no "Assassination" info displayed at this point.

I leave the office through the hole in the wall and cross to the other building. At this point I spot a man with no helmet in the upper floor on the far right, so snipe him with the crossbow. _Then_ I get the "Assassination" flashup! OK, so this is Daud. So who did _I_ kill back at the office?
