I am thinking about crafting Elven armor for my Rogue. I am playing an Imperial law-abiding Rogue, so I do bandit quests and missions and whatnot using stealth, but I dont rob or take assassin jobs, etc. So basically, I will not be able to get any of the cool stealth/evil faction armor since I'm a Lawful Neutral Rogue.

Anyway, so I am just curious if Elven Armor will negatively affect my Sneak Rating? I have Sneak 100, The perk tree is maxed (I have Muffled Movement, Silence, Stealth 5/5) and i have a ring of 25% Stealth. I am not quite high enough in Light Armor yet to take Unhindered. But once I do, will I be as stealth as the ghost-like levels of stealth I enjoy now?
I ask because I played around with enchanting and put a resist fire enchant on my normal leather armor, and a -1% destruction cost on one of my other leather items, and I found scale armor (Light) with 30% resist fire, and I dont know which it was but one of them was majorly jacking up my stealth. I took off all my stuff and was naked and suddenly I was hard to see again.
So I am just wondering if Elven Armor will let me be sneaky, and what you think might have been messing me up?
Thanks!
