im trying to balance my game abit to make it more challenging, going holy archer and only putting the 1 point in the archery power effect, i want to do alchemy and make deadly poisons but dont want them to be insanely powerful so is it recommended not to put the 5 points in?

At Higher levels it balances out.

You'll be making very powerful poisons no matter what. The best argument to take the perks in Alchemy are for good health/magic potions.

Holy archery using poison....that's different not sure what u consider "op", I don't think poisons are that powerful....put 1 point in it, make poison.....if not as powerful as you want, put another point in and try it....might want to save in between just in case it's too powerful for you

yeah i suppose the higher alchemy level is the bigger increase in potion stats hmm good point....what if i just didnt put any perks in it? really dont like being OP for some reason i always love the fights at the start of the game (spec with dragons) as its challenging and you have to be more tactical

yeah i know strange class but the 'holy' really takes place on the undead im more of a hunter type character with being elven having magical abilities lol

I think putting those points in the weapons to increase the power by x% makes them super powerful specially the bow
