Hi all, so I pre-ordered New Vegas when it was first announced, and I requested the collector's edition for the PC. Seemed reasonable enough.

But I've just discovered this article, http://www.ausgamers.com/news/read/2909540 which claims that the collector's edition (in Australia) is only going to be released for PS3 and 360.

Is there any truth to this? The game store I pre-ordered with has never called me to tell me it'll be unavailable (though they were kind enough to call me when they had to shift my order to a different store, as they were closing down), which makes me suspect that this is (A) a load of crap, or (B ) the new store has worse customer service and there'll be no CE for the PC version.

So, what's happening with it? Am I right to be freaked? I want that All Roads comic and the playing cards, dammit!

Call the store and ask them.

Considering that article is almost 6 months old the information contained therin is not up to date.

I have not heard anything about the Australian/NZ area not getting the CE for PC. I have seen the threads on the price differences and on censorship, but no one has mentioned this before.

So, I doubt it is the case. Besides, the store would have told you by now if it was not availible.

I would, but they're not open yet. I only just found the article, and figured this would be quicker.



Admittedly, the age of the article makes me suspicious too, but then again, it's not like there's been any revelations about the CE recently. The only stuff that's known is the stuff that we were told 6 months ago in the original (and only, as far as I know) press release.

I went into Game yesterday and paid the balance on my CE edition for PC and was not told anything about it not being available, so unless they plan on handing me a console version that will be useles to me and having a customer going berserk I presume its going to be OK.
