I think you need to have a certain amount of posts. Mine wasn't there at first, but just kind of showed up after I started posting.

Anti-spam measure (You can thank the bots spamming pointless six ads for that!), you cannot have a signature or post links after 5 posts and being a member for a week IIRC.
