I bought training for my speech (from 23 up to 30) and got the bribery perk, then hit a guard to test it out (also tried other crimes). However, I don't get the option to bribe - is this a bug? Or am I confused?

That's funny, because in the few times I've broken the law for a quest I found myself forced to complete that way, there was usually an option to bribe the guard or guards when they showed up for me. Very odd...

Well, after further testing, it seems that I can bribe the guards after being caught pickpocketing, but not after assaulting someone - is this intentional?
