So after the THIRD savegame bugged out (only viable option I found is reverting to a save 18 hours before...), I think I don't give a damn anymore.

I've had the Karthspire-CTD after 165! hours, where it always crashes near Karthspire after getting the task with Sky Haven Temple.
I've had the Abandoned Prison-CTD after 55 hours, where it always crashes at the bridge between the Abandoned Prison and Hillgrund's Tomb.
And now I've got the Riften-CTD after 75 hours where it always crashes in the Riften docks...

These are NO mod issues btw, all these CTDs only happen with the specific chars. I never had such issues with any other game before. So now I am finally giving up on Skyrim. Maybe I will come around again, when everything is patched up, but until then I can't deal with this [censored] anymore.

So, do I only attract bad luck regarding Skyrim or is anyone else as unfortunate as I am?

Bugs are unpredictable sometimes, I've never had a game breaking one yet, but I've had plenty of crashes...and it svcks when you haven't saved.

I'm sorry you're having problems. Skyrim has been more glitch-free for me than any of the other Elder Scrolls games I've played. Maybe you can give the game another shot later on.

I havent ctd'ed at all in 140 hours but I'm playing clean vanilla game.

This. My game is pretty stable. I only had CTDs badly when I tried using Gerret's Retreat. All games do this type of stuff at random, as well. I seem to run into too much good luck for some reason... I'm sorry you are having problems with the game. I hope the patches actually do fix more than they break soon enough. Or not soon enough.

I'm sorry for your problems. Even today my skyrim has crashed seven times in last two hours.
