Done with the Bugs

Post » Wed May 04, 2016 10:52 am

I too have encountered the game breaking bug during "Dangerous Minds". Bethesda will offer no council and refuses to acknowledge any issues. It does not seem to matter to them that we paid for their game. Literally this is killing me, all the time and fun I had with Fallout 4 and now its all worthless because I cannot move forward in the main story.

I hold out some shred of hope that Bethesda will offer some guidance, some light in the darkness. It is literally tearing me apart how badly this has ruined my experience.

Forget this Fallout bull crap, I am going back to Skyrim...Bethesda you have ruined it for me.

I noticed a bug while doing Dangerous Minds where I where something happened and a memory play-through stopped (bodies disappeared, dialogue ended early) and I couldn't advance. I just left that memory's "space" the same way I came in and then walked back into it and it re-started the memory play-through and allowed me to advance. Since some people experience the issue and some don't, I wonder what the cause is.

Could be your problem related to that?

"Saving and loading inside the memory will make the quest impossible to complete. Dr. Amari will show as "Busy" after exiting the memory lounger and the waypoint will be beneath the floor.

To avoid this problem: load a save before entering the memory lounger and run through to the exit."

Hi,

Thank you for the reply!

I am aware of the bug related to saving inside the memories. Because of this, I made sure not to save inside the memories. I have a save before entering the chair and another just after exiting. After exiting the memories after Amari says "ill pull you out when you are ready" she will only make generic comments about the memory loungers and the quest marker is under the floor.

Please, I know not everyone has this bug but some still do. Any ideas?

Hi,

Thank you for the tip and reply!

I do this. I get the quest marker to touch the tv after Amari says her little dialogue. Then i exit no prob, but cannot advance past that.

I sure hope not! I did try to un-install the updates but now it tells me its "an older version of Fallout" so it wont let me play without updates. Though it has happened in the past. All we can hope is that when they send the inevitable patch for Automatron issues people are reporting that they include more quest fixes too. I sincerely hope they see all of this and are just spending their time working on a resolution instead of responding. A guy can dream.

Seems to be post 1.04. Prior to that I had no issues going back pre patch. It has to be because of the added elements to the game like Meat Totems and such. Well, I hope, that when they inevitably release a patch for Automatron they fix Dangerous Minds also. Thank you
