Hey guys, I'm new here with a question.

My fiancee and I decided to splurge for Christmas and got the 360 gift pack from Best Buy that comes with a downloadable copy of Skyrim. We don't have internet, so last night he took the whole unit over to his best friends house to download everything. After he went through all of the steps, he disconnected it from the internet and tried to load up the game. It told him it needed an active connection to the internet to play it. He tried messing with the settings to see if he could turn off the internet, but to no avail. It kept saying the same thing.

My question is, do you have to have the internet to play this version of it? We're pretty disappointed if that is the case since we bought this specific 360 because it came with Skyrim. I'm hoping it's just a setting that can be changed or maybe an update that he missed.
