Great spending a lot of money and now i have to wait 7 hours before all data are downloaded...

What did you expect? The game magically appears in your pc? O_o

If you bought it on Steam, it has to download. Your download speed has nothing to do with Bethesda.

This could be a steam problem - I loaded from DVD then started downloading the steam update. Its been 96% done for a very long time. Seriously long time. The download rate resembles dialup, and I have ADSL2+. THAT could be an issue for many people, particularly if there are tens of thousands of people trying to update the game at any one time, download the patch, and run it. Downloading from steam is simply infuriating. I have always hated steam. I have not found one game that runs properly on steam. Personally, if I were a game developer I would consider steam only as a vehicle for people to download their game in its entirety, not for the launch of a popular title that will slow steam to a crawl, and then a slow crawl.

Its been ten minutes since I last checked. Still 96%. I can download entire games faster from other sites.

Steams going to be overloaded with everyone downloading at the moment. I pre ordered and preloaded the entire game in around 5 and a half hours. It's not steam or Bethesdas fault, its just having tonnes of people downloading at once. I was getting around 200kb/s when i preloaded when i usually get 600-800kb/s from steam (Which is my max download speed)
