WTF......just camed to my mind,if thisi s Kassandra wasn't the archdemon defeated? What is Kassandra doing here? And why there's a bunch of Ogres and Golems togheter?

Dragon Age is largely dead to me beyond Origins. But keep in mind with this anime: its got very little to do with Origins. its based on Cassandra Pentaghast, not the Warden.
I can see, this is beyond mortal repair.

Just a cheap cash-in, nothing new here. Though, I wasn't aware that Dragon Age was even popular in Asia.

It did for a brief moment. Asians remember NWN well.

It's probably not the archdemon. There are other dragons in the DA universe. But as to why the golems seem to be standing side by side with ogres, your guess is as good as mine.

The vid just reminded me of crap like 99 nights for some reason. I can see it now. Dragon Age 3, not just A for awesome, but fill up your awesome meter and press B for Battle Edge Carnage Blindside Overkill Demonrend Hyper-Awesome moves.

The idea of an anime isn't particularly bad, but the animation looks awful. The industry is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF3OP3f2I10&hd=1 than that.

Wow, that looks beautiful, some parts of it are actually 3D but look like real 2D.
Anyway, the artstyle is not the most important of the story, look at Unlimited Blade Works adaptation, it is just brilliantly beautiful, but it cramped the story and cut out a lot of contents.

So i was reading my brother twitter than i saw this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm-kJ5vQ8Ig
The idea of having a Western game be turned into an anime project isn’t new. Halo did it with Halo Legends. I’m a fan of anime and video games, so this very idea should be a winner, yet it’s not. Instead of having traditional 2D animation, the Dragon Age anime opted to use CGI instead. If you’re going to use CGI, at least make it look good. The character models look uninspired and the voice acting is rough. At least the last shot with the dragon looks wonderful. The animations looks....well old.
When i saw the comments on youtube, and the dislike bar.My expectaions dropped.I was realling hoping something new.
But anyway we can't say too much, can we?We need to wait 1 years anyway. Also by the trailer yo ucan see that the character, isn't the Grey Warden.By two reasons:
1-The Archdemon present, the plot looks nothing like the plot of DA:O.
2-This warden..is a Girl.And the "Grey Warden" is despised as a male.
Also you can see other importamt figures.Such as the "Church" present in all Dragon age games.

This monstrosity of horrible animation, art direction and cheesy Japanese voice acting portrays the "dark fantasy" element of Dragon Age: Origins far better than Bioware did - all in a span of a minute and forty seconds.

The problem with American animators is that they are so used to having computers do all their work from them, I.E Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, and all those other hacks of animation companies who have been using the same crappy 3D modeling programs since toy story 1 was released, when it comes to a art style that really only looks good if it looks somewhat hand drawn they cant do it because they haven't had to make anything look hand drawn since the 90's.

I disagree. Pixar's films look fantastic (never been a fan of Dreamworks or Walt Disney Animation Studios' computer animation) and Disney has done a few films using traditional animation the last few years that've turned out great (The Princess and the Frog, Winnie the Pooh). There's also quality animation to be found outside of the United States and Japan, such as Sylvain Chomet's The Illusionist (one of the nicest works of animation I've seen in recent years, it was gorgeous).

Traditional animation just isn't very popular in the West, especially for theatrical releases.

You know, Dead Space Downfall and the movie for Dead Space 2 used traditional animation. Why not for this movie?
