Can Bethesda add more control over flight in an update? Or maybe a bonus of the next piece of DLC. Like, the actual flying. I don't like not being able to control the dragon. It makes fighting difficult, and it makes the dragon essentially useless after you've cleared an area. I was really disappointed after being able to tame a dragon and ride it, that I wasn't actually FLYING the dragon, but rather an accessory to it that shot spells off it's back while it did all the work.
I'd like to be able to control where the dragon flies, so I can use it to get places. That'd be way cool in my opinion. I'd use it like a horse. Now most of you might say "Oh, that'd make it too useful, or ruin horses", but I disagree. For one, a Dragon is very... bad for stealth. Not to mention limited landing areas. Horses would be used for quickly getting to and fro between short distances, and if you want to sneak up on enemies when you get to your place.
As for it being too useful... do you know how much work is put into being able to tame dragons? First you have to beat the main storyline of Dragonborn, (because the last word is in the last dungeon), then you have to actually find a dragon to tame. I mean, you can't just use the same dragon. So it's not to say that you'd ALWAYS be able to take a dragon places. You'd just be able to use it if you could find one. That'd also make those incredibly frequent (and annoyingly frequent) dragon attacks, much much more of a relief and less of a facepalm moment.
So yeah.. actually controlling flight, please. I know it's probably more difficult, but.. you guys are smart and creative.
