Post some cool and helpful tips on best practices for dragon slaying.

Its my and Lydia, and we are battling a dragon. I have died a few times, I plan on kicking some but when I get home from work.

I am using, Lightning Strike / Firebolt for destrucion
Daedra Mace for Weapon
Shout / Hitskin for powers

Anyone got some good advice =]

Use fire or ice in opposition to their breath weapon. Use stagger. I haven't found a dragon I can't utterly annihilate.

join the dark brotherhood and get the "Mark for Death" shout that is in their sanctuary. any dammage taken after than shout seems to be 3x/4x more effective. makes them go down really fast.

Make use of rocks and large objects you can block their breath with, when their health is less than 1/4th then I usually go dual blade in for the kill ha.
