Okay, I have two games on different Xbox accounts. On game 1 I have minor glitches but no game ending problems (yet). On game 2, even though I absorb dragon souls I can't unlock shouts because I get a box telling me I have no Dragon Souls. I obviously know how to unlock shouts because I have no problems in game 1 so that is not the issue. Anyone know how to fix this? I even tried restarting game 2 and had the same problem. Only playing game 1 is not a solution as game 2 is my girlfriend's game.

Just to be sure, you are hitting x to unlock the spells, correct?

Yes. That is when I get the dialog box saying I don't have the souls to unlock it. It did work once with fire breath but after a mission (companions, where you go to the underforge) fire breath was locked again and despite having dragon souls the game thinks differently but that game was scrapped and the problem continues on in the new game.

I have this issue as well. Although you can still play the game, shouts are a major part of the main character development and this definitely cools my enthusiasm for this game. I have 2 new Shouts and 5 Dragon Souls that won't unlock. I sincerely hope that this gets fixed in an update soon.
