The trailer shows the player equipped with dragonbone arrows. My question would be, does this mean this new DLC also enables dragonbone weapons to be made, or are scenes from the trailer made with a version of Skyrim that also includes the Dawnguard stuff? How would that effect anolysis of the trailer, if at all?

The question is: what if you don't have Dawnguard? Does thtat mean you don't get dragonbone weapons? Or are they part of the DLC too?

As far as I know, it is impossible to get dragonbone weapons apart from Dawnguard.

We won't know 'til it's out, but there has been no mention of them.

It's entirely possible that Dragonborn will add Dragonbone weapons for those without Dawnguard.

Honestly, they already have the assets, it wouldn't really cost anything to Bethesda to put them in, and I don't think it'd hurt Dawnguard's future sales. Considering how intentionally meticulous a PR trailer usually is, I really doubt they would "accidentally" put Dragonbone weapons in if they didn't just come with the DLC, but don't quote me on that, at least, don't quote me with expectation that I'm right.

We don't know this for a fact but I highly doubt they are going to take an element from one DLC and put it in another...

Dragonborn looks like it adds so muh of it's own that gimping DG would be senseless.

we dont know that but dont think Bethesda would do that simply bc they would lose out on $. Bethesda is well run business empire and they want make as much cash as possible from skyrim they probably think if people like to have dragonbone weapons they have to spend 1600mp and get dg, if they want to return to mororwind they have to spend 1600mp if they want to build their own house they have to spend 400mp and its fine with me becouse spending 20$ on game i really like every few months wont make difference in my life
