"Dragonborn" Bug Game is Unplayable Now

Since the 1.8 patch, things have been running rather smoothly on the PS3. Until tonight.

Travelled to Tel Mithrin to have the health spell removed, left the primary building an encountered a Blood Dragon. Dispatched the Blood Dragon and the event where (spoiler) Miraak appears and absorbs the dragon's soul. An Ash Spawn had appeared while I was fighting the dragon and Miraak shouted me, per the scripted event, and...knocked me out of my camera.

What I mean is, I am in first-person right now, looking at myself. I can walk away, shout, fight, etc, but my camera remains fixed at a single spot outside of Tel Mithrin. Fast travel doesn't fix it; I simply show up on the map as being located elsewhere (e.g., Raven Rock), while having a fixed camera view pointed in the direction of where I had fast travelled, i.e., travelling to Raven Rock will load me with my camera pointed in the general direction of Raven Rock, but still located in Tel Mithrin. My character is there, for as much as the game is concerned, but I'm literally stuck looking at Tel Mithin, at a single spot.

Obviously this makes the game a bit impossible to play. I'm very disappointed right now as I had just purchased the Hearthfire expansion and was just finishing up some loose ends before heading back to Skyrim.

Sigh. Goddammit, Bethesda.

I've now noticed that if I fast travel to another location and check the map, sometimes I can get the camera to move to that new location. I actually managed to look at Raven Rock for a bit, but the camera was still fixed, behind a bush.

I walked into a house in Raven Rock, hoping that would fix it. It produced an entirely teal screen instead. Checking the map seems to "force" a screen update and the textures have now drawn, but I'm still stuck in this bizarre out-of-body camera perspective.

Did you try just saving, turning the PS3 off and then starting the game up again? Another option is to mount a horse or dragon where the perspective changes, riding a horse often corrects the camera when you dismount, I assume a dragon would also work. You could also go back to a previous save. Those sort of bugs can happen any where in the game, it was just bad luck you got it in the DLC.

Nothing I have done (including reloading, game changes, etc) seems to fix the problem. I have an earlier save from yesterday which does load fine; the save file literally has my camera state saved along with the save file, to the degree where my save thumbnails show me, looking at me. It's sorta bizarre in how persistent it is.

I am going to try waiting for an extended period of time (roughly one month) and if that doesn't work, I'll just delete the autosaves and continue from earlier.
