I love this song! I made a slower version of it, for fun.

Let me know what you think. Unless it will hurt my feelings... then don't

Sorry for the delay, I thought I had this thread subscribed.

Check out this link: http://addictedtoludus.com/2011/11/11/skyrim-artwork/

The first image I used is in there, click on it and you get the high resolution version.

I honestly like it. The beginning didn't grab my attention very well, but I'm glad I listened to the rest of it. Reminded me a lot of Morrowind since it was a little slower. What software did you use?

Thanks for the feedback!

1) I used an old midi sequencer called http://www.musicmasterworks.com/. Compared to free alternatives, I don't recommend it though, I only use it because I'm used to it. I'm trying to get used to http://musescore.org/ now.
2) The timbre of the instruments are from random soundfonts I got off the internet.
3) I used http://www.synthfont.com/About_SyFonOne.htmland http://nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html to get the editor to play those soundfonts (this may not be needed with some midi editors or some SB sound cards).
4) Then I recorded the output with some standard audio recording software.
5) Then I used a video editing software available on Linux Ubuntu (can't remember the name - similar to Windows Movie Maker) to mix the audio with the pictures.

Everything can be done with freeware.
