Title. Being a hardcoe Morrowind fan, this expansion is like a 8 year old girl in a candy store. I haven't been this giddy in a long time.

-great new quest
-amazing writing
-Morrowind nostalgia to the max
-silt strider
-telvanni towers
-Morrowind music
-Morrowind clothes and robes
-great new armor and weapons
-very fun visiting old places

Overall I could not have asked for more. Well, I could, but then I'd just be getting greedy. :P Very pleased, Bethesda. Best 20 bucks spent in a long time.

There are functional silt striders?

Brb. I'm ordering a Xbox 360 and a Skyrim game from Amazon. Can't wait another 30 days for this X.X.

Methinks you need to keep looking as there is new magic.

The thing is, it does actually FEEL like playing Morrowind at certain moments. Like when you see a couple of Netch beasts grazing over an ash landscape with the original Morrowind tracks humming away, it might aswell be Morrowind.

Has anyone foolishly tried swimming to Vvardenfell yet? I'm gonna guess you get struck by an invisible wall?

ha I called it, this is definitely catered to the morrowind fans. Morrowind is crap on xbox so I couldn't play it and therefore can't fully appreciate all the MW here.

From a non-morrowind fan I would rate it a 7.5-8. It's a good dlc but it instantly lost a point for going back to an old dlc location and then lost another point or 2 for a few things...everything with werebears (pack, quest, summons) except for playable werebear, finally adding destruction damage enchantments but to items that can't be disenchanted, staff making but only generic staffs that can't be named and a few other things yhat just don't make sense to me.

Loved other things like puzzles actually requiring thought and a decent amount of content on the island

Don't get too excited...you can't ride "Dusty", because she's old and ill and tired, but you can certainly go up to her and ooh and ah and feel that you've come home at last.

Indeed. It actually makes me feel warm inside when the tracks start playing. The quality of the dlc/nostalgia hit is unreal.

I actually had tiny tears welling up in my eyes, when I watched a let's play video. I was like, oh cool, faring on a boat, approachin Raven Rock, Dunmer guy talking to you. Yep... looks pretty neat... Then suddenly the morrowind music started playing and I was like *-*.

Those criticisms are terrible. Reminds me of something i'd read on IGN lol...

Are you positive? Skyrim has been lacking any of that. I don't want to be shortsighted by the nostalgia because I am going back to morrowind.

Are there any new guild quests to come out of this? If there is new magic I am going to get this.
