Dragonborn's real name?

Post » Wed Nov 21, 2012 11:52 pm

I'm not talking about Miraak. The DB you play as, does his canon form have a legit name? I want to do a sword-and-board heavy armor nord character modeled directly after the DB in the trailers, and naming him Dovahkiin, or Dragonborn just annoys me for some reason. My other chars have legit names suitable for their race, and I want this one to have one as well. Although I have no idea what the trailer Nord Dragonborn's name would be, honestly.

Thoughts, ideas, anyone?

^Nice idea, but I'm looking for a pure Nord name.

Ysmir North-Dragon sounds kinda cool actually. Perhaps just Ysmir??

Jim.

Seriously though, he has no "official" name and I doubt he will when referenced in future games. He'll likely just be called "the Dragonborn".

There is no canon Dragonborn. There the marketing mascot for commercials and shiz but other than that nothing. The closest we've come to a character with a name is Bendu Olo (I think that was it) in Oblivion.

You could just go with Ysmir North-Dragon, as it's as good as you'll get and just as official as anything else we can come up with.

Ballimun Iron-hand.

Kulbrick Strong-arm.

Ysmir-storm-crow.

(All inspired from the idea of putting meanings after the name, the storm-crow one is from LOTR and Ysmir credit goes to the guy above me who recommended it first!)
