I was wondering if you killed the first dragonborn, would you absorb his soul like dragons because remember dragonborns have the blood and SOUL of a dragon and if you do absorb his soul would you get his vast thuum knowledge

yea maybe, but apparently you're trying to become the ultimate dragonborn which should include learning the secrets of the first DB, even if you could spare him you could learn his knowledge

This is a very valid question that will have some ground breaking implications upon the first dragonborns death.

my guess is he has som unique Thuum and when ya beat him you absorb the words and his soul unlocks them. In the same none standard way you learn and unlock Fus-Ro-Dah

Maybe it unlocks an ultimate version of all you shouts

doubt that, my suspition is that this will scale like Dawnguard, so ya can jump in at around level 10 and up, it be a bit silly jumping in at 10, beat him when ya close to 20, then leave the island for the main game with such a bonus.

Probably able to add his soul to your shout list... Almost like a 'summoning'. You can call him to your aid.
