Well, I know my way around the Gospels, and I was surprised today when I found out that dragons in skyrim have something in common with Jesus!
I was doing the quest in which you speak to the greybeards for the first time and, speaking about the dragons, Arngeir says that language is intrinsic to dragons nature.
This is very similar to the incipit of John's Gospel, where he says: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. --- And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us" And Arngeir says that the Voice is a gift of Kynareth, a divine, and the dragons are one with the voice.
Could it possibly be a nod to Christian religion then?

No because Word did not bring about the advent of Dragons or creation in the TES universe. I don't see the connotation with Jesus? in fact your point was lost on me since you referred to jesus and then gave an excerpt from something I'm assuming god said.

Well the only christian angle i can see in this is how Alduin will destroy the world so it can be reborn anew.

Yes many religions have a end of the world scenerio and i assume that Bethesda was going the Norse route with SKYRIM's background.

True. I doubt thats the only one that has a giant monster or animal eaing the world.
