Dragons catching the bird flu?

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 10:21 pm

3 times today I've stmbled across dead dragons just lying there. I always arrive just in time to get the soul too. This happening to anyone else?

I watched one Dragon fly into a group of Trolls and die before I could get over there to see what just happened...

lol Got to say the title and first post gave me a good chuckle. I can't recall a time that happened to me, maybe a similar thing though... When I first got to the spring area in eastmarch months and months ago, I heard a roar in the air, so I looked for it. I so happened to look down off of the mountain trail and into the springs to see a dragon getting killed by an Imperial group and died before I could sprint over. So, what I'm trying to say is maybe it was some huge coincindence that you got to the dragon just as it died 3 tiimes in a single play session. Random encounters, especially with vampires now roaming about could take a dragon down.

Well a dragon doesnt lose its soul unless your close, so how long its been there doesnt have anything to do with it.

Sometimes when I enter cities I find random dead npcs, and this happened before the DLC. The Npcs names are sickly "occupation".

I once had a giant kick the living resurrection out of a dragon. I've also killed a dragon and received no soul, no matter how badly I abused the skeleton

Hah! That's awesome.
I haven't stumbled across any randomly dead dragons, but I have seen a couple get owned by wild life or other NPCs. I usually like to find a nice perch, kick back with some pop corn and watch the fireworks :) Then sweep in and LOOT!
