I started a new character a couple days ago after I got hearthfire and other than the first dragon at the watch tower and dragons at dragons at word walls I havent seen a single one.

I have not used fast travel, I am level 15 and have traveled from White run to Solitude to the Dawnguard castle all the way to castle Volkihar back to white run and then to markarth and not a single dragon. Is my game bugged?

And before anybody asks yes I have started the main quest I have Fus Ro and Dah.

Maybe, but I doubt it. The further you get into the Main Quest the more dragons you'll encounter. I think towards the beginning of the MQ dragons are relatively rare

From what I've heard, dragons appear more when you fast travel. None of my characters have fast traveled and dragon attacks are pretty rare for me. I have a level 26 character who has only encountered one dragon apart from the first one you kill.

Really? I've had much more dragons than usual.
