Druid-ish build ideas (Fire Emblem style)

So through a combination of mad Fire Embleming and boredom, I've decide to try and recreate a class from FE (as well as I can) in Skyrim. I've done this before, as the classes usually build the base for a character (I LOVE Fire Emblem), but always with melee builds. However, this time I'm trying out a Druid/Summoner style, and I just need some ideas.

For those who don't know, in the GBA Fire Emblem games, Druids use primarily Dark magic and staves. However, there is of course no offensive "dark" magic in Skyrim, so I'm trying to decide what would fit best. See, I'll focus a lot in Conjuration to show off one side of something that could be considered dark magic, but I'll need to have means of direct attack.
So, out of fire, shock, and frost, what do you all feel would best fit "dark" magic?
I'm leaning towards frost, as it all around seems darker, along with FE's magic also being called "elder magic" by some. At least in Skyrim, frost magic the only kind that those undead bastards enjoy using, which certainly gives it an ancient appeal.
Any thoughts?

And for reference, I'll focus on Restoration and Illusion/Alteration (for healing and support, respectively, as in FE staves are used to heal or support the group) as well as Conjuration (summoning/necromancy) and possibly SOME light armor (Druids tend to have the most defense out of all the magic classes). And then whatever else I can think off, but it will probably be pure magic, offensively.
To go with it, I'll focus on boosting magicka the most, with health on the side (Druids also tend to have more health).

To put it all in non-Fire Emblem terms, think of it as a mage focused on the pursuit of knowledge and ancient, powerful, perhaps unorthodox, magic.

I know, wall of text, but I'd just like some ideas from some fellow players, and probably those who know any magic lore better than I do.

Druid's wear white robes, cull mistletoe with golden sickles and act as priests of Celtic pagan Gods. I really don't know who (or why) someone resurected a minor, obscure (possibly mythical) piece of Iron Age British culture and made them into people who wear furs and turn into animals.
