First off, the game is great, but one of the things that bug me so far is just how if you chose to have a sword in your left hand (for fun) and you have whatever is in your other hand, if its a spell to your fist, you pull put your weapon it is instant, also there isn't a left weapon sheath, which is obvious if you have 2 staves or a staff in your left hand,

all I hope is that it gets fixed by a patch in the future, and before you say, wait for a mod, I'm on a console, don't hate

Possibly there is no reply because you have to have seen the bug yourself, and then decided to spend a couple minutes rereading the OP, to figure out what this thread is about.

When you go into the menu and select a new weapon for your left hand, you see the weapon instantly appear on the screen, hovering over your hand. Then exiting the menu, your hand animates drawing the weapon until a few seconds later, it actually looks like the weapon is being held instead of floating there. I think that's what this post is about.

I can't speak to sheathes since I only accidentally and recently figured out how to even look at my character, and due to a plot event, she was unarmed and in her underwear at the time.

It's weird and an oversight, but it doesn't break any gameplay and it could even get patched. That helps if your console is at least online like a PC.

Some guys are collecting bug reports here, supposedly to turn in to Bethesda: https://unofficialskyrimpatch.16bugs.com/projects/7078 You could submit one for this if you want. (Though everything there is a candidate for the unofficial patch, which will inevitably address more issues than Bethesda does, and that's only for PCs.)
