Eating and Sleeping in the game

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:06 am

Is there any need to eat in the game? I know that you can eat certain things to boost your health\energy\fatigue but is it required? If I dont eat for three days do I become slower, less intelligent etc? As for sleeping ... other than sleeping to advance to the next level, is it something you have to remember to do every day?

Thanks

Without mods, eating and drinking isn't required (unless you RP a character that needs both). Sleeping is only needed for leveling purposes, or to heal injuries (unless you RP the need).

As the first reply stated, only sleep is required to level up. I have mods that make them a requirement and enjoy using them because it adds realism to the game. I have always thought that Morrowind and Oblivion were lacking in that department. They should be required IMHO. Hopefully Skyrim will require them, but I doubt it will happen.

Thanks! Now I can stop wasting gold to buy a bed each night.
