I've spent the better part of this week working toward crafting my own ebony armor and was very excited when i did until i noticed there is a glitch between the helm and the armor.

For some reason when I equip the ebony aromor the texture section between where the neck connects to body is off, it looks strange. This causes a small black necklace like ring to to appear around the neck and there is a gap so some of the back of my characters neck is clipping through the helmet. my character is a nord so its super noticable.

this is a huge bummer, especially after spending so much time to collect and unlock everything to forge the armor.

I don't have that glitch. The glitch I've come across with ebony armor is that it doesn't receive the "Matching Set" perk bonus. Its very frustrating.

I looked at a few other forums and i see other people are having the issue. i wonder if its related to the size of my character. watch race are you playing as?. if i go into 3rd person and look down from an angle its super noticable.

I have never had this, but i didnt have the glitch where its not a matching set, and then randomly after enchanting the piece i got the matching set bonus, doesnt really matter though, im rocking full daedra

Finally! Someone noticed this too. And it isn't only this set. The imperial armor set don't recognizes its helmet even like heavy armor. So you lose 2 perks: "Matching Set" and "Well Fitted".

I'm a bosmer and I had that too. I believe it's for all races.

has anyone heard if they are going to patch the bugs with armor? this is super lametown!

My khajiit's mane clips through all helms. Very upsetting.
