So I got the Ebony blade and have killed 7 people who should qualify for upgrading it,but the damage on the weapon has not increased at all from when I first picked it up. The blade is reacting to the kills, got it to talk about four times while killing those seven. It also does not ask for a recharge if that helps.

I also have the same problem. The daedric speaks to me and even lets me know that the blade is restored to its full power yet it's attack is still 17.

This is another bug that Patch 1.2 did not fix.

I sure am. I'm pretty sure this is a universal bug, IE, no one's Ebony Blade is working as intended. They just didn't even bother an attempt at a fix.

I tried killing a 'friend' when I got it. Nothing. Waited a long time until I got an old lady, and subsequently got sick of her ever-widening posterior. Ebony Blade didn't seem to like ridding her of me either, at least for stat boosts.
