i just got my smithing up to 80 but i cant seem to find anywhere to buy ebony ore. anyone?

Gloombound Mine has a lot of ebony mining spots.

It's South and East of Windhelm.

When you hit about level 25, ebony ore and bars will be stocked by smiths around skyrim.

Theres a a couple ebony nodes at the highest point of the mountain when you get to speak with Paarthurnax, also has some Malachite ore as well. There was even a handy pickaxe up there for me

Shore's Stone was filled with ebony veins for me, though that might have been some sort of bug since it's supposed to be an iron mine
