Ebony Warrior... is a huge warrior but an Redguard? (Your ex

(Not sure if its spoiler, Im new and I would assume any quest-details of DragonBorn is violating the Forum rules)

Huge in terms of height of course. Today, I thought I could battle with the Ebony guy for the first time, got my gear and traveled to Skyrim to search for him. Then I found him in Wihelm (spelling) and he was not what I expected...

He is literally much higher than my Nord or any high elves, so at that second I thought he was a Heartland High Elf and everyone assumes he an High Elf due to same skin(the present one) and not everyone seen a High Elf. :bunny:
I was exicted as hell when we agreeded to fight on Last Vigil since I thought he was a Heartland High Elf.
Upon my arrival, I annouce the battle by weiding the Nordic Sword and attacked him. He was worthy to battle with and he's beyond my Skills to even have a chance of killing the warrior. I died too many times with the blade and began to show the Wraith of my Power! Summon two Dremoth Lords, my dragon and that dead dragon whom name I forgotten... to kept him distracted but still that was not enough. At long last I defeated him by jabbing my sword through his abomen while he was on the floor, crawling to the nearest salvation.
I was terribly desperate to see his face even I was just expecting a High Elf's face template or something but as I take the helmet off... It was a Redguard?!!!!

How can a Redguard be as huge as twice the nord size and how come he can gain passage into Sovngarde via Death when he's a Redguard?

Anyway, what was your Legendary battle with the Ebony Warrior like?

This is the first I am hearing of the ebony warrior :S
I am disappointed I have not heard about him.
I will start my search now.

And by the way, I like the way you typed up your story, you managed to make it exiting :)

He hoped to get a Warriors place in Sovngarde. Whether he did, or didn't, is up to the developers. People have said that, unlike Ulfric if you kill him, he doesn't show up in Sovngarde if you kill him before you go there. However, that might just be an oversight on their part, rather than any sign. I wouldn't be surprised either way.
I would have the same hope, if I was him. Having supposedly done so much, getting passage to Sovngarde, the Mead Hall of Warriors, would only make sense.

True Nords and High elfs are the tallest of the races in Tamerial . That doesn't mean that there are not a few exceptions for the height of the people of other races. There have been overly tall people in all human races. The reason that he stated that he was going to Sovngarde cause I am guessing he worships Talos. Mainly cause his ability to use shouts. I highly doubt he was a Dragonborn so he had to learn how to use The Way Of The Voice.

Pretty much no one ever on this planet assumed he is/was a High Elf. Its common knowledge among EVERYONE that he is a Redguard.

Really? I kinda rushed the text due to limitation of my time, causing me to miss alot of English stuff.

I actually killed him with one backstab on my assassin character. Needless to say I was very surprised he dropped like that.
