Echanting question

Do the enchant armor perks work for clothing? i dont want to take the perks because im not ever going to wear armor...or use weapons for that matter. so getting to that duel enchant perk seems like 4 wasted perks if the enchants only work for heavy/light armor.

The perks should work for robes/clothes as those are the armor types for mages. I have not gotten the perks yet, so this is not my personal experience, but it seems that most other posts similar to this have agreed that robes/clothes can be enchanted just like light/heavy armor.

I know you can enchant rings and necklaces.
But I cannot remember whether you can even enchant normal clothes and shoes.
I vaguely remember that you can however enchant robes and hoods, but I am not certain of this.

In other words, I'm not sure. The best way is to try it out yourself.

If you're asking whether the double enchants perk that work on armor will work on things like rings, I think if you can enchant it, all perks will work.
